The Problem We Solve
Oracle implementation programmes fail for predictable reasons. Scope creep caused by under-specified requirements. Governance structures that collapse under client-side pressure. Teams staffed with consultants who have never delivered the module they are configuring. And the systemic assumption that technology will compensate for weak processes.
These failure modes are common across both the Middle East and Europe – in the Middle East driven by rapid growth outpacing the supply of experienced delivery capability; in Europe by the consolidation of Oracle partners into large SIs where senior consultants are removed from accounts after the sale is closed. The result is a landscape of half-finished programmes, expensive rework cycles, and organisations that have lost confidence in Oracle – not because Oracle is wrong for them, but because the delivery was wrong for them.

Simalaya SA was incorporated in Switzerland in 2006, backed by Seed4Equity, a Swiss technology investment group with ten portfolio companies and five successful exits, as a management and technology consulting organisation. From inception, the firm was positioned as a high-calibre consulting practice serving enterprise and institutional clients – not a software reseller or staffing agency, but a genuine IT and business consulting firm built to European standards.
Our Consulting Heritage (2006-2024)
The firm developed capabilities across Digital and Data Marketing, Marketing and Innovation, Customer Value Management, Retail and Distribution, Governance and PPM, Quality Management, and Transformation and Change. Over time, Simalaya delivered complex programmes for leading organisations including Admiral, Barclays Bank, BMW, the European Union, national payment and trademark offices, Lombard, Orange, and the United Nations, spanning financial services, telecommunications, energy, and international institutions.
Our Oracle Practice (2004-Present)
In 2025, Simalaya made a strategic decision to expand into Oracle professional services across the Middle East and Europe through the acquisition of the Oracle practice of AppsLink Consulting. AppsLink had established itself as a recognised Oracle partner in the Middle East since 2004, notably receiving the Global and EMEA Oracle HCM Cloud Specialized Partner of the Year awards in 2018. This heritage now forms an integral part of Simalaya’s capabilities and market positioning.

A Luxembourg-based group listed on Euronext Paris consolidates Simalaya’s management and technology consulting business from 1 October 2013. Simalaya SA and its Seed4Equity ownership remained intact throughout, providing continuity of governance and investment commitment.
