Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is Oracle’s second-generation enterprise cloud platform. It is not limited to Oracle workloads. OCI supports any application, any database, and any workload requiring Oracle-grade infrastructure performance, security controls, and commercial predictability. It is the foundation on which Oracle Fusion Cloud runs and the infrastructure layer for deploying Oracle Agentic AI, Oracle AI Agent Studio, Oracle Generative AI Agents, and custom Oracle AI agents at enterprise scale. OCI provides data centres in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the EU, with data residency controls relevant to regulated industries and government organisations. For enterprises evaluating hybrid and multi-cloud architecture, OCI provides connectivity and governance controls to operate alongside existing infrastructure without forcing an all-or-nothing migration decision.

Oracle product documentation:

OCI migrations fail when the architecture is right-sized for the demo environment, not the production workload. Cost overruns and performance gaps almost always trace back to under-specified design decisions made too early.

Product Overview

Simalaya delivers OCI architecture design, migration services, and ongoing infrastructure management. We work with enterprise organisations moving any workload to OCI – Oracle Database, custom applications, and third-party enterprise systems – as well as organisations building hybrid cloud environments and those using OCI as the platform for Oracle Agentic AI and Oracle AI Agent Studio deployment.

OCI is the infrastructure platform for Oracle AI. AI agents built using Oracle AI Agent Studio, Oracle Generative AI Agents, and the OCI AI Agent Platform require OCI provisioning and governance controls. Simalaya designs and manages the OCI infrastructure layer as part of every Oracle AI deployment that goes beyond native Fusion Cloud capability.
