Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is Oracle’s second-generation enterprise cloud platform, built for performance, security, and commercial predictability at enterprise scale. It is designed to run any workload, not only Oracle applications, making it a viable infrastructure choice for organisations regardless of their application landscape. OCI is the foundation on which Oracle Fusion Cloud runs, and the infrastructure layer for deploying Oracle Agentic AI, Oracle AI Agent Studio, Oracle Generative AI Agents, and custom AI agents at scale. For organisations building or extending AI capabilities, OCI provides the compute, storage, and governance controls that enterprise AI workloads require. OCI operates data centres in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and across the EU, with data residency controls relevant to regulated industries and government organisations. For enterprises evaluating hybrid or multi-cloud architecture, OCI provides the connectivity and governance controls to operate alongside existing infrastructure, without requiring an all-or-nothing migration.
OCI migrations fail when the architecture is right-sized for the demo environment, not the production workload. Cost overruns and performance gaps almost always trace back to under-specified design decisions made too early.
Overview
Simalaya delivers OCI architecture design, migration services, and ongoing infrastructure management across the full range of enterprise workloads: Oracle Database, custom applications, third-party enterprise systems, and hybrid cloud environments.
Our OCI practice covers three primary client scenarios. Organisations migrating existing workloads to OCI, including non-Oracle applications and databases. Organisations building or extending hybrid cloud environments where OCI operates alongside existing infrastructure. And organisations deploying Oracle Agentic AI, Oracle AI Agent Studio, or Oracle Generative AI Agents, where OCI provisioning and governance controls are a prerequisite to production deployment.
For any Oracle AI engagement that extends beyond native Fusion Cloud capability, Simalaya designs and manages the OCI infrastructure layer as part of the same delivery programme.
