Our Commitment

Simalaya Consulting operates to the governance and ethical standards expected of a Swiss-incorporated firm serving enterprise clients in regulated industries. This is not a compliance exercise. It reflects the institutional standards that Seed4Equity, a Swiss technology investment group with ten portfolio companies and five successful exits, applies across its portfolio companies.

Business Ethics

Oracle Licence Position

We do not resell Oracle software licences or Oracle Cloud subscriptions. We are a professional services firm. We have no financial incentive from Oracle licence sales and no commercial reason to recommend configurations that benefit us at the expense of our clients.

Conflicts of Interest

We disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest to clients at the outset of an engagement. We do not accept commission, referral fees, or incentive payments from third parties in connection with client engagements without client knowledge and consent.

Transparent Pricing

Our engagements are priced transparently. Time and materials engagements are reported against actuals. Fixed-price engagements are governed by a defined change control process. Scope creep driven by our side is not charged.

Award and Credential Representation

The Oracle 2018 partner awards were earned by the AppsLink Oracle practice and are attributed accurately - as credentials of the team now delivering your programme, not independently claimed by Simalaya.

Regulatory Compliance

Data Protection

Simalaya Consulting processes personal data in accordance with GDPR (Switzerland / European operations) and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) (UAE / Middle East operations). See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Anti-Bribery and Corruption

Simalaya Consulting has a zero-tolerance policy on bribery and corruption in all jurisdictions where we operate. We do not make or accept facilitation payments. Our compliance framework aligns to UK Bribery Act standards as a minimum.

Corporate Governance

Simalaya SA is a Swiss-incorporated company subject to Swiss corporate law. Financial reporting, ownership structures, and corporate decisions are governed by the requirements of Swiss company law and the oversight of Seed4Equity as institutional owner.

AML / KYC

We apply client due diligence processes appropriate to the regulated nature of many of our clients’ industries. We do not engage with clients who cannot demonstrate legitimate business operations.

Delivery Governance

Every Simalaya engagement operates under a formal governance framework defined at the outset and maintained throughout delivery. This includes:

Documented scope, deliverables, and milestones agreed in writing before work begins
Change control process: no scope change without documented client approval and agreed cost and timeline impact
Escalation path defined at engagement start - not improvised when problems arise
Monthly governance reporting on all engagements of three months or longer
Senior consultant accountability: the consultant responsible for delivery is named and accountable throughout the engagement
