Oracle Agentic AI - AI Agents Across Oracle Fusion, OCI, and the Enterprise

Governance-first Oracle AI deployment for enterprise organisations across Europe and the Middle East. As an Oracle Fusion Agentic Applications partner in the UAE, Simalaya implements, governs, and operates Oracle AI agents in production enterprise environments.

Most Oracle AI deployments fail at the governance layer – not the technology layer. AI agents deployed without role-based permissions, human confirmation gates, and audit trails create risk, not productivity. Every Oracle AI deployment Simalaya delivers is governed from the start.

Product Overview

Simalaya deploys Oracle AI agents in production for enterprise clients in the UAE. Our AI capability is Oracle-specific, governance-first, and already operating inside live client environments.

Oracle has embedded AI agent capability natively into Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM, and SCM through Oracle Fusion Agentic Applications, and has built OCI into the enterprise-grade platform for deploying custom AI agents that go beyond what the native Fusion layer provides. Simalaya implements Oracle AI across two layers: native Fusion Agentic Applications, configured and governed as part of standard Fusion Cloud engagements; and custom Oracle AI agents built on OCI using the OCI AI Agent Platform, Oracle Generative AI Agents, and Oracle AI Agent Studio.

Simalaya is a Seed4Equity portfolio company. Seed4Equity also owns Artifact (artifact.swiss), a Lausanne-based AI data science and analytics company. Simalaya is the Oracle professional services firm in the Seed4Equity portfolio. Artifact is the pure AI firm. For Oracle AI deployments requiring advanced data science, AI model development, or analytics capability beyond Oracle’s native tools, Simalaya can facilitate engagement with Artifact through the shared Seed4Equity portfolio relationship.

Custom Oracle AI Agents on OCI

For enterprise organisations with more complex Oracle environments – including deep customisations, large data volumes, multi-entity structures, or highly specific process requirements – OCI provides the infrastructure to build custom AI agents that operate on Oracle data and handle edge cases the native Fusion layer was not designed for.

Custom Oracle data agents

Agents that query and reason across large, complex Oracle data sets that exceed the scope of native Fusion AI features.

Multi-entity Oracle agents

Custom Oracle data agentsve Fusion AI features.

Custom approval and workflow agents

Bespoke AI-driven approval chains built around complex organisational hierarchies.

Oracle document intelligence

AI agents that process Oracle-associated documents using OCI Document AI alongside Oracle transaction data.

Custom Oracle analytics agents

AI agents that combine Oracle Fusion data with OCI data platform capability for analytics use cases beyond OAC’s standard feature set.

OCI AI Agent Platform

Oracle Generative AI Agents on OCI

Oracle AI Agent Studio

Oracle AI Agent Studio is the visual development environment within OCI for building and managing AI agents. It provides a low-code interface for configuring agent behaviour, defining tool connections, setting knowledge base parameters, and establishing governance rules – making Oracle AI agent development accessible to Oracle functional teams who understand the business process.

Simalaya uses Oracle AI Agent Studio to build custom Oracle AI agents configured around your organisation’s specific Oracle processes. Governance rules, approval thresholds, and audit parameters are built into the agent at configuration stage, not added as an afterthought. Oracle Digital Assistant is then deployed as the conversational interface through which employees access these agents.

Section 3g - Oracle AI Database

Oracle AI Database (Oracle Database 23ai) is Oracle’s converged database platform with native AI vector search, in-database machine learning, and Generative AI capabilities built directly into Oracle Database. For enterprise organisations running Oracle Database on OCI or on-premise, Oracle AI Database removes the need to export data to external AI platforms – AI processing happens inside the database, within existing security perimeters and governance frameworks.

AI Vector Search

Semantic search across Oracle Database content without external vector stores – Oracle data stays inside Oracle.

In-database ML

Machine learning model training and inference inside Oracle Database – no data movement to external ML platforms.

Select AI

Natural language SQL generation within Oracle Database – business users query Oracle data in plain language without SQL expertise.

RAG inside Oracle

Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines operating on Oracle data within the database security boundary.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need OCI to deploy Oracle AI agents?

Native Oracle Fusion AI agents and Fusion Agentic Applications do not require a separate OCI environment – they operate within your existing Fusion Cloud tenancy. Custom Oracle AI agents built using OCI AI Agent Platform and Oracle AI Agent Studio require OCI provisioning. Simalaya’s Oracle AI Architecture Assessment determines which deployment model is appropriate.
